Elementary School Teacher for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools in Winston-Salem, NC. The job responsibilities of an Elementary School Teacher are to teach elementary students individually and in groups, adapting teaching methods to meet students’ varying needs and interests. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and establish clear objectives for all lessons. Plan lessons for daily instruction that derive from state standards, assessments, and curriculum. Create a classroom environment that engages and supports all students in learning and is appropriate to the maturity and interests of students. Evaluate student learning and revise instruction accordingly. Structure teaching to encourage independent thinking by students. Effectively prepare and use instructional materials and technology resources. Maintain appropriate expectations for all students and provide appropriate feedback. Use measures of student learning to improve instruction. Utilize strategies to meet class objectives, student needs and abilities. Effectively communicate with students, parents, and the community. Bachelor's Degree or Foreign Equivalent in Education or a related field. Must possess an Educator License from the state of North Carolina. Multiple positions available. Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
