The Office of the Provost at Winston-Salem State University seeks a collaborative and energetic partner to serve as a Student Services Specialist-Resilience Coach, a unit in University College. The Student Services Specialist-Resilience Coach is a 12-month position that reports to the Director of the Academic Enhancement Programs (AEP) and is responsible for supporting the academic and personal success of student populations. University administrators seek a creative, passionate, adaptable, and responsible professional committed to promoting a positive and successful learning environment for students to increase student retention, success, and completion. The Student Services Specialist-Resilience Coach will empower students to identify and achieve their educational, personal, and professional goals through guided coaching sessions and by connecting them with resources within and beyond the Student Success Center at Hill Hall. The Student Specialist-Resilience Coach will also identify students who may be at risk of failing and/or withdrawing and will proactively work with them and manage the coordination of the support offered them.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions
