What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Coordinator position at Winston Staffing?
Immediate need for International Consumer Goods Firm!
Will assist on all aspects of internal procurement role supporting all staff members at the factory.
Scope will be only indirect items (excluding raw materials, packaging)
Interacts with vendors and assists site leadership with completion of purchase order.
Communicates status of purchase orders to necessary individuals and follows PO through from start to completion.
Keeps PO tracking log updated and accurate as requests are submitted.
Partners with Factory Director, Maintenance Planners, Managers, and Supervisors to ensure timely approval of POs.
Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtaining approval from requisitioning department.
Track and manage POs for annual routine services (such as cleaning crew, Indeavor, waste water treatment services, recycling, and others TBD).Communicate with vendors and site leadership on annual routine service POs.
Act as single point of contact to create new vendors.
Train identified individual(s) as backup to cover vacations and unplanned absences.
Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
Daily follow-up with our accounts payable team to ensure payments are released on time.
Provide weekly review on goods receipt and invoices receipt to the factory finance analyst.
Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
Support Maintenance Work Order processes.
Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Fills in for other Parts Coordinators as needed.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Experience with SAP
Experience with Ariba (plus)
