Housekeepers

A major hospital in Vineland, NJ, is seeking dedicated Housekeepers. This role is responsible for maintaining environmental and infection control standards by performing various cleaning and sanitizing tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms after discharge, following infection control procedures.
• Perform high and low dusting, bed stripping/making, and removal of general and hazardous waste.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms in accordance with infection prevention guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety and sanitation standards.
• This is a non-patient-facing role.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Candidates without a GED must complete a GED program within one year.
• Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, carrying, and walking.
• Occasional lifting of items over 50 lbs, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Constant standing, reaching, hearing, talking, and vision requirements.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Full pre-employment physical.
• Verification of education, references, and background check.
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations (required at most facilities).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
