What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Wintegrity?
Experienced Staff Accountant to be responsible for processing business transactions, financial statements, and budgets, handle accounts payable and receivable, receipts, and other financial matters. Proven accounting experience is required, along with strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to join the accounting and finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Process payroll
- Build and set annual budgets, monitor monthly adherence
- Prepare financial statements
- Post customer payments and deposits
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Manage Medical, Dental, Vision policies, enroll new employees and manage annual open enrollment
- Annual Affordable Care Act Compliance
- Sales & Tax Use filings monthly
- Procedure and policy development-as needed
- Processing any employee changes (pay increase, demographics, resignations / terminations)
- Manage unemployment claims
- Credit Card payments and reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Year-end preparation and reporting-yearly with CPA
- Annual workers compensation audits
