JOB DESCRIPTION
Winter America Inc is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join the Winter family. This position is responsible for supporting the Sales Manager in all daily activities in order to meet the organizational goals for Winter America. The jobholder must be able to perform duties independently, with the necessary support of the Sales Manager. Jobholder will work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure superior customer service for our valued clientele. Jobholder must be able to be physically onsite at the Winter America office in Portsmouth NH for 3 days per week. (schedule can be flexible once probationary period is completed)
Requirements
- Experience in sales order processing
- Experience in customer facing activities including but not limited to customer emails, supplier relations, sales quotations etc.
-Ability to be work independent and perform critical thinking to resolve customer inquiries.
-Proficiency with general math calculations.
-Proficiency with Imperial and Metric system.
- Customer oriented thinking and acting
- Responsible, efficient and goal-oriented way of working
- Ability to work under pressure and perseverance
- Reliability and adherence to deadlines
Main tasks (not an exhaustive list), competencies, responsibilities
- Comprehensive sales processing and handling
- Support of customers and specifiers at the direction of the Sales Manager.
- Complete processing of customer orders, procurement, transports, invoicing
- Quotations, calculations and follow-up.
- Creation, maintenance and control of price lists
- Monitoring of payment conditions and deadlines
- Receiving and settling complaints with the help of the Sales Manager
- Follow-up of the trips/reports of the Sales Manager
- Sample Material Mailings, promotions and their follow-up
