Position title: House Coach

Compensation: $21.50 per hour stipend pay
Position overview
The House Coach will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and effective operation of their designated setting. This role involved supervising direct care staff, providing support to service recipients, and ensuring compliance with state regulations and company policies. The individual is responsible for promoting our organization's values in all areas with the goal of all those connected to that house, service recipients, community members, and support staff.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and mentor direct care staff, providing guidance and support.
- Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to each service recipient's needs.
- Monitor the well-being and safety of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Handle daily administrative tasks such as shift scheduling, staff meetings, and working with compliance on reporting.
- Coordinate and communicate with Human Resources to evaluate staffing and hiring needs.
- Coordinate and communicate with families, medical professionals, and other individuals within the care teams as needed.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise among staff or service recipients.
- Conduct 15-minutes weekly coaching sessions with each designated staff and 45-minute monthly coaching sessions.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 2 years providing direct care, management, or other related 245D intensive services. 6 months minimum experience internally preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage crises effectively.
