What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales and Admissions Manager position at Winter Growth Inc?
You shall have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in the health and human services field.
- Two (2) years of experience in sales/ admissions in senior housing.
- Previous customer service.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Possess excellent phone, written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Ability to facilitate small group presentations
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel)
Responsibilities:
- Is responsible for achieving the Community’s occupancy and revenue goals.
- Builds a trusting and positive relationship with prospects by understanding the Winter Growth mission and how WG can meet the customers’ needs
- Assure rooms are well maintained and presentable
- Admissions\Discharges for Housing and Day Programs:
- Initiate and maintain contact with prospective residents, daycare participants, and referral sources to promote the community.
- Tour prospective residents/participants, which may include home visits and virtual tours.
- Handles walk-in or telephone inquiry activity.
- Be available to provide evening/weekend tours when needed and virtual tours.
- Manage online chat sessions during the week.
- Follow-up on referrals.
- Responsible for all aspects of the admission\discharge process (mandatory paperwork, OASIS input, notification to all staff)
- Collaborate with RN, Center Director, ALM as appropriate to ensure potential client is appropriate for program.
- Verify transportation available if applicable.
- Compile Person Centered information to share with all staff.
- Update census and other lists with new admissions and discharges.
- Ensures that all empty rooms are furnished, decorated, and maintained within the building.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of programs.
- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of client payment sources including grant funding.
- Understand and remain current with Winter Growth Privacy and HIPAA policies as well as all State, Local, and Agency policies. Participate in interpreting these policies and the agency’s philosophy, standards, and goals to staff and the community.
- Be up to date on all regulations that pertain to assisted living and adult medical daycare including COMAR 10.07.14 (ALF), 10.09.07
- (Medical Daycare-MA), 10.09.54 (Home and Community-Based Services Waiver), 10.09.61 (Daycare Waiver), 10.12.04 (Daycare)
Support Families:
- Be available to, as directed, with family issues.
- Assist with any participant/resident issues.
Minimum Physical Requirement:
- Able to operate a personal computer; able to concentrate for long periods while maintaining accuracy.
