We are currently looking for a Business Management Specialist (Finance) in the Orlando area for a fully onsite role.
The Business Management Specialist/Accounting Specialist performs financial and accounting activities to increase internal control and stay in sync with SOX. Commitment and dedication is an encouraged behavior to be always displayed towards our guests and team members! This role will focus on the Food & Beverage Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform Food and Beverage/Retail Accounts Payable coding, signature, and submission process
- Responsible for processing, maintaining accurate and comprehensive information for accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Assist in the Food and Beverage/ Retail Accruals and vendor maintenance
- Reconcile accounts receivable and send out invoices
- Reconcile and audit transactions.
- Assist and audit F&B inventory quarterly.
- Assist with any billing issues for guests and vendors.
- Assist with month end P&L reviews for Food and Beverage Department and P&L Reviews
- Reviews and analyzes the monthly financial statements and provides monthly variance reports for F&B
- Assists in coordination of year-end audit information.
- Perform and prepare Payroll as backup support and other finance operation functions.
- Perform a reasonable request by management within the employee capabilities.
- Advises and seeks consultation from the Sr. Business Manager regarding problems or areas of concern.
- Research any charge backs and credit card issues, prepare daily deposit and change order and assist associates with their change need.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by the client from time to time, is crucial to the successful performance of this position.
- Work on special projects at manager's request. Assist with budget preparation and presentation
SKILLS:
- Oracle, InfoGenesis (preferred)
- Heavy AP/AR, vendor support, Capex for F&B area, contracts & Licenses, inventory, month end cycle (accruals, variances), Variance and COS for F&B reviews
Salary : $40,000 - $41,000
