Job Description
This is a part-time (32 hours/week) position that requires monitoring and protecting Winter Park Resort assets. The role involves physical inspection, transfer of monies, interpretation of guidelines, problem solving, and ensuring the safety of guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Protect Winter Park Resort assets by transferring deposits, handling change orders, and monitoring buildings and vehicles.
- Manage and assist with 24-hour building access for guests and employees using keys, card access, alarm, and door codes.
- Assist Traffic Control by enforcing traffic regulations, assisting with jump starts, lock-outs, and towing during and after hours.
- Assist guests by addressing complaints and problems, providing information, finding lost people, solving ski equipment mix-ups, filing ski theft reports, giving refunds, and assisting with coin-operated machine problems.
- Monitor snowfall and make calls for snow removal, monitor and patrol buildings, vehicle, and foot traffic areas.
- Provide 24-hour coverage for Winter Park Resort to deal with problems promptly.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Guest service and/or experience working with the public
- One season with Winter Park preferred
- CLETA (Colorado Law Enforcement Training Academy) Certified desired
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
This position may require working overnight, evenings, weekends, and holidays in various environments, including office and mountain settings.
