Winter Park Protection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Team Member to join our team at Winter Park Resort. As a member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

About the Job:

• This is a dynamic position that requires strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• You will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling resort areas, responding to emergencies, and enforcing laws and regulations as necessary.
• We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol resort areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other security incidents.
• Respond to emergency situations, such as accidents or medical emergencies, and provide basic first aid if necessary.
• Enforce laws and regulations related to alcohol sales, ski safety, and other resort policies.
• Work with local law enforcement agencies to investigate crimes and respond to security incidents.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and employees, answering questions and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CLETA certification preferred.
• Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or a related field is highly desirable.
• You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances quickly.
