About the Role :

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager passionate about driving business growth through innovative marketing initiatives focused on guest satisfaction. This pivotal role is aimed at boosting resort visitation, enhancing brand growth, and increasing revenue in key areas such as lift tickets, passes, and lodging. The ideal candidate will possess a results-driven mindset, with expertise in integrated marketing, promotional strategies, business analytics, media strategy, and execution. You will lead a team and report directly to the Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop Integrated Marketing Plans : Create annual marketing plans aimed at achieving revenue targets and growth opportunities, collaborating closely with the VP and Director of Marketing.
  • Lead Advertising and Paid Media Efforts : Provide strategic direction, manage media agencies, and implement impactful advertising and creative deliverables.
  • Business Analytics and Growth : Analyze resort performance to inform growth strategies, collaborating with teams to gather insights on guest behavior.
  • Budget Management : Build and maintain marketing budgets, ensuring monthly reconciliations align with goals.
  • Leadership : Coach and develop team members while collaborating cross-functionally to meet business objectives.
  • Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience leading and developing marketing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of advertising and paid media strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across all departments.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in project management tools; proficiency in Adobe Analytics is a plus.
  • Ability to maintain brand consistency across all channels.
  • Must possess exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing, with a preference for B2C and hospitality, travel, or ski industry experience.
  • Must be passionate about outdoor activities and the mountain lifestyle.
