This role ensures accurate financial records and compliance with accounting best practices while providing ongoing financial oversight to keep the business on track for tax season. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple financial tasks to support the company’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:Payroll & Compensation- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws.
- Calculate and track sales commissions for employees.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely tax filings.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions.
- Oversee bill payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Track business expenses and maintain organized financial records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for tax planning and compliance.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations.
- Work with external accountants to support tax preparation and year-end reporting.
- Experience in payroll processing, bookkeeping, or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Office-based role with collaboration across departments.
- Reports directly to business owners and works closely with the Scheduling and Finance Manager.
- Responsible for payroll administration for a workforce that fluctuates between 47 and 50 employees, positioning the company as an Applicable Large Employer (ALE) under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
