The Winters Joint Unified School District serves approximately 1550 students within the city of Winters and from the surrounding unincorporated areas of Yolo and Solano counties. The District schools include : Waggoner Elementary School (TK - 2), Shirley Rominger Intermediate School (3-5), Winters Middle School (6 - 8), Winters High School (9 - 12), Wolfskill Continuation High School / Career Readiness Academy (grades 9 - 12), and the Winters State Preschool Center and Head Start Program.
The District employs approximately 250 employees and is the 2nd largest employer in Winters.

Job Summary
9 : 00-3 : 30 Tuesdays
9 : 00-1 : 30 Wednesdays
Flexible schedule can be built within the available hours
Temporary position on a Variable Service Agreement
16 per hour
Under direct supervision of the high school AVID Coordinator, tutors work with middle and high school students to provide math, science, and other academic support in addition to the AVID course curriculum.
Requirements / Qualifications
High School graduate
Previous AVID experience, desirable
Currently enrolled in a two-year Community College or a four-year college or university or recent college graduate (two years or less)
Complete 8 hours of paid Tutorology training, which will be offered within the hours of the workday.
