We are seeking a self-motivated and dependable Groundskeeper to join our team in the Louisville, KY area. The Groundskeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that the grounds of the community are attractive, orderly, and healthy. Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week).
Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Some experience in groundskeeping and/or basic maintenance.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills and able to work well in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
- Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
- Keep walkways, driveways, and other areas free from debris and litter.
- Plant, weed, and water flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the landscape.
- Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal and leaf collection.
- Assists with maintenance work orders.
- Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.
