We’re looking to hire a self-starter and dependable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Central City-Livermore, KY area. The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance needs of two small properties, including daily work orders, monthly smoke alarm and filter changes. Qualified candidates will have previous apartment or property maintenance and carpentry skills.

- Muhlenburg Manor Apartments: 401 Morehead St., Central City, KY 42330 (24 units)
- Wildington Apartments: 709 West Sixth Street, Livermore, KY 42352 (12 units)
Job Type: Part Time (22 hours per week)
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays)
Compensation: $16.00 per hour, plus monthly cell phone reimbursement of $50
Sign-on bonus: $250 (Restrictions apply. Rehires and family members of employees are not eligible)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least one year of property or apartment maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, etc.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must possess own basic hand tools.
- After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
- Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
- Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
- Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
- Other related tasks, as assigned.
