We’re looking to hire a self-starter and dependable Property Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Wheelwright, KY. The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep of property and units, to include: work orders, plumbing, electrical, drywall repair, painting, cleaning, etc. This job also requires clearing and ice treatment during the winter months.
Property: Branham Heights - 67 Branham St., Wheelwright, KY 41669 (24 units)
Job Type: Part Time (16 hours per week)
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Tuesdays and Thursdays)
Compensation: $15.00-18.00 per hour based on experience, plus monthly cell phone reimbursement of $50
Sign-on bonus: $250 (Payable on first paycheck. Rehires are eligible if their separation period has been 1 year or more).
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least two years of property or apartment maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical, etc.
- Basic computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must possess own basic hand tools.
- After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
- Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
- Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
- Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
- Other related tasks, as assigned.
