We’re seeking a part-time Property Manager to join our team in the London, KY area. The Property Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 46-unit property. The ideal candidate must be a people-oriented professional, as this role involves daily interactions with tenants and prospective applicants.
Job Details:
- Property: Laurel Place Apts. - 117 West Carter Road, London, KY 40741
- Job Type: Part-Time (24 hours per week)
- Work Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Compensation: $17.50 per hour, plus monthly cell phone reimbursement of $50
- Sign-On Bonus: $250 (Payable on first paycheck. Rehires are eligible if their separation period has been 1 year or more)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- At least three years of solid customer service or administrative experience.
- Previous affordable housing experience preferred but not required.
- Strong computer proficiency and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A stable work history demonstrating reliability.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for training.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Responsibilities:
- Assumes responsibility for the leasing and effectively marketing the property.
- Markets, forecasts, and projects upcoming move-outs in order to fill units quickly and maintain target occupancy.
- Completes applicant screenings to determine eligibility.
- Shows units to prospective residents.
- Adheres to all HUD, Rural Development, Tax Credit, Public Housing and/or Conventional Housing standards.
- Completes appropriate paperwork and follows compliance guidelines for leasing.
- Responsible for collecting and depositing rent payments.
- Other related tasks.
