What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Coordinator position at Winthrop & Weinstine?
The role of the Billing Coordinator will support our Accounting department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Including, but not limited to):
- Update detailed billing reports, as requested by attorneys, for text editing, transfers of time and/or disbursements, using computer software.
- Prepare and distribute final billing invoices, potentially directly to clients.
- Partner with attorneys to understand and execute their billing needs.
- Prepare detailed billing reports on an as needed basis.
- Provide assistance with billing and time entry questions.
- Facilitate all aspects of electronic billing.
- Communicate in a professional manner with both internal and external clients.
- Flexible in accepting expanding responsibilities as firm transitions additional billing activities to Billing Team.
- Assist others in the department as needed.
