Job Description Summary

The AVP-BSM position is responsible for supporting the VP-BSM to perform all Asset Liability Management (ALM) modeling and IRR reporting activities for Wintrust’s chartered banks, non-bank entities, and the consolidated corporate entity. In addition, this individual will monitor compliance with internal and regulatory policies, as well as analyze and help propose strategies for risk mitigation, policy compliance, and senior management activities.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the integration of financial data into the ALM model and reconciling.

• Help to maintain and run ALM model including analyzing model inputs and outputs.

• Enhance the ALM model and analyze all the associated assumptions and reports for improvement. Help support downstream systems/activities that utilize model outputs.

• Produce and analyze reports for all supported entities. Respond to requests from Corporate Risk (2nd line and MRM), Internal Audit, SOX Team, regulators, and partners.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience in Accounting and/or Finance with ALM experience a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.

• Knowledge of ALM software (preferably Empyrean Solutions Product Suite) a plus.

• Proficient ability in Microsoft Excel with knowledge of PowerQuery preferred.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
