What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Winwood Management?
A growing multifamily real estate company is seeking a floating Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the maintenance and operations.
Job Description/Duties:
- Supervise the work of contractors and/or third party vendors
- Complete resident work orders in a timely manner
- Inspect facilities periodically to determine any issues and necessary maintenance to building systems
- Ensure managed site is current on all required inspections
- Prepare apartments for new move-ins and complete “make-ready” process of vacant apartments
- Ability to respond to emergency calls after business hours
- Ability to "go the extra mile" to keep the buildings and apartments up to an optimal standard
Skills:
- Well organized and professional; willingness to perform a variety of jobs as needed
- Anticipates what is needed and takes initiative; can complete tasks with minimal direction
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues
- Must be resourceful and a good problem solver
- Ability to simultaneously coordinate several projects from start through completion
- Maintenance experience is required
- Experience with Multifamily properties preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
