What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Instructor position at Winyah Flight School?
Winyah Flight School is hiring a Chief Instructor for it's site in Georgetown, SC. This is a full time position that will report to the General Manager.
Job Description:
Flight School Training
- Define/Establish pilot training courses
- Provide information for marketing staff to promote business
- Recruit students
- Assess training programs to offer
Training Instructor
- Provide ground and flight instruction
- Seek out and recommend candidates to hire as additional instructors
- Establish Training Schedules
- Manage record keeping of students
Training Advisor
- Communicate Winyah Flight School course information, rates, etc. with interested parties
- Establish training plan for new students
Company Aircraft and simulator
- Manage simulator configuration and access by students
- Provide assessment of candidate aircraft
- Liaison with maintenance service provider
Requirements:
- Drug screening required
- Must maintain FAA commercial pilot certificate, flight instructor certificate, and at least a 2nd class medical.
