We are assisting our client, Meinhardt Group, with the recruitment and selection of a Site Safety Inspector. This is an on-site position that will report to their client located in Aurora, CO.

The Site Safety Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, project safety protocols, and applicable OSHA standards. The role involves daily monitoring of site activities, conducting inspections, reporting non-compliance, and working closely with contractors and subcontractors to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits of the construction site and activities.
- Identify potential hazards and unsafe conditions; recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA and CDPHE requirements.
- Monitor and enforce project-specific Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans.
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of inspections, incidents, training, and safety violations.
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with site safety rules and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation and continuous improvement of the Site Safety Plan.
- Use safety management software/tools for data entry and real-time reporting.
- Support emergency preparedness drills and response coordination.
- Ensure all workers have necessary PPE and safety certifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction safety inspection, preferably on industrial projects.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification required.
- CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) or similar certification preferred.
- Familiarity with Colorado state safety regulations and local codes.
- Strong understanding of industrial construction hazards, including heavy equipment and hazardous materials.
- Proficiency in using digital safety inspection tools and reporting platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
