Role Purpose
This career opportunity within our career framework is at Managing Consultant level and is for the ETRM consulting business unit. The role as a Managing Consultant will lead growth of the consulting business across strategic accounts by leveraging both, existing and emerging capabilities, in addition to creating new strategic growth areas to deliver significant profitable growth for the accounts and consulting globally.
This role is expected to deliver growth across the following areas:
- Transformation themes for ETRM
- Consulting capabilities across ETRM and Digital Transformation
Our Managing Consultant is expected to build D level relationships, and leverage strategic partnerships as relevant for business growth strategy, in collaboration with the Global Account Executives and other business leaders globally.

Responsibilities
- Growth: Work with the leadership team to define a sound business growth strategy for designated strategic accounts. Ensure the consulting business opens new business opportunities and expands Wipro’s client positioning
- Relationships: As a Managing Consultant you bring deep expertise and good industry connections to develop the consulting and advisory business
- Solutions: Identifying & defining differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within designated strategic clients
- Customer Centricity: Delivering customer value as a central theme across all activities. Ensuring Wipro is delivering as a partner and aligned to client/customer value and strategic goals.
- Branding: Leverage the above to help create strong Wipro Market Positioning and increasing Wipro’s mindshare

Skills and Qualifications
Proficiency in React and JavaScript is fundamental. This includes understanding React's component based architecture, state management, hooks, and the latest features of JavaScript, ideally ES6 and beyond.
Microservices Architecture: Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, including designing, developing, and deploying microservices. This involves understanding containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Redis: Expertise in Redis for in-memory data storage and caching. This includes setting up Redis clusters, managing data persistence, and optimizing performance.
Data Modelling: Skills in data modelling, including designing and implementing database schemas for both SQL and NoSQL databases. This involves understanding normalization, indexing, and query optimization.

UX Design: Experience in UX design principles and best practices. This includes creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces, conducting user research, and implementing responsive design.
API Design and Integration: Proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL is essential for enabling communication between the front-end and back-end.
DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment, CI/CD, containerization such as Docker, and orchestration such as Kubernetes, is valuable for automating and streamlining the development process.
Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is important for deploying and managing web applications in a scalable and reliable manner.
Security: Understanding web security principles and best practices, including data encryption, authentication, and authorization, is crucial for protecting the application and its users.
Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing web applications for performance, including techniques for reducing load times, improving responsiveness, and ensuring smooth user experiences.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $100,000 to $200,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
