Job Description: Portfolio CTO / Transformation Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Portfolio Chief Technology Officer (CTO) /Technology Transformation Leader to build and lead our business in casino/online gaming and entertainment vertical within CRCS (Communication, Retail, Connectivity, and services) sector.  This role involves driving technology strategy to align the clients’ business goals, overseeing the implementation of new systems and platforms, and leading our teams for various entertainment, gaming, and hospitality clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & thought leadership:

Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy to align with the client’s business goals. Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and identify opportunities for Wipro to maintain competitive advantage in the market and advise clients accordingly.

• Transformation Management:

Lead major transformation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Drive the adoption of new technologies, including cloud computing, AI, and big data analytics, to enhance gaming experiences and operational efficiency.

• Portfolio Management:

Oversee the technology portfolio including initiatives across multiple program and project workstreams. Aligning with clients’ budgets and supporting them in their planning and analysis work.

• Team Leadership and Development:

Build and mentor a high-performing technology team. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the CRCS sector.

• Stakeholder Engagement and Governance:

Collaborate with business & technology leaders to ensure technology alignment with overall business strategy. Communicate technology strategy and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, including board members, employees, and external partners.

• Risk Management:

Identify and mitigate technological risks to the business. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Collaboration:

Engage with the various technology teams within the company and bring the best teams together for addressing clients’ initiatives.

Engage with the EA /architecture practice closely.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CTO, IT Director, or in a similar leadership role in the IT sector, preferably within the gaming industry.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and how they can be applied in the gaming industry.
• Experience leading large-scale IT transformation projects.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Key measures of success:

• CSAT and NPS (we conduct project and account level satisfaction)
• ESAT as measured through the top talent retention and growth of the talent.
• Reference-able programs – Contributing to Wipro’s position at Casino/Online Gaming/Entertainment clients.
• C-level engagement at the client organization and Strategic alignment and execution – Effective translation of customer goals and converting to viable partnership strategies and the successful execution of these strategies.
• Innovation and technology advancement and create replicable frameworks and practice developments: Implementation of cutting-edge technologies that enhance gaming experience, operational efficiency, and competitiveness. Driving the team building to maintain the innovation and tech advancement.
• Growth in the relationship as measured through order booking and revenue.
