Healthcare BPO – Senior Business Analyst
The Senior Business Analyst provides strategic, critical-thinking and analytical services with operations leaders. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business operations to gain in-depth understanding of due diligence business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding and documenting capabilities needed to address business challenges.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial and technological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and offer valuable insights based on prior relevant experience.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Responsibilities will include a full range of activities collaborating with business operations to deliver efficiencies, improved customer experience and innovative solutions through use of technology support and align efforts of information technology team to meet business needs
- Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing. Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
- Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
- Manage business relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results
- Provide leadership to team members and peers by collaborating with others; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; identifying and initiating projects; managing resources; driving the resolution of issues; and holding self and team accountable for results
- Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design
- Developing process improvements and recommending waste elimination
- Provide project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in related field
- Currently live in the Tampa, Fl or Atlanta GA area
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in analytics or relevant position in the Healthcare or Medical Insurance industry or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.

- Responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements.
