What are the responsibilities and job description for the Techno Functional Consultant position at Wipro Limited?
This role is with Energy Domain & Consulting within Wipro Consulting GBL. This would focus on business & technology engagements for top midstream clients around the world covering areas like Refining, Supply Chain, pipelines, rail , road and marine transport, terminal & storage for oil, natural gas, LNG, new energy value chain. This is a leadership role for the sector and is a high impact role to help Wipro expand its domain consulting footprint in the energy sector clients. The role holder should be an expert practitioner in Energy Downstream, Supply, Distribution, Logistics and should be able to build / strengthen the end-to-end capability based on best practices in this industry segment as well as secure and grow Wipro business in midstream energy segment across existing / new energy accounts.
Core Responsibilities
- Consulting Strategy: Define growth strategy for business consulting and technology consulting with higher billing rates and margins, create new business opportunities & new business wins (pipeline and order book)
- Consulting Delivery: Lead and execute high impact consulting programs aligning with client business strategy and roadmap, engage with senior client stakeholders
- Competency Development: Enhance core competency capability building strategy for Energy Midstream practice, enrich knowledge assets, manage geo-distributed consulting associates of varied experience levels, mentoring, career planning.
- Business Growth: The role holder is expected to shape, lead and drive transformation engagements by working closely with Global Account Executives, Sector Heads and internal Wipro teams.
- Partnerships: Nurture key partnerships based on product/service capabilities, future road maps and alignment with our client needs, with the objective of building competency and business network e.g., product companies, practitioner forums, logistics industry networks etc.
- Thought Leadership: Be Wipro’s voice and a recognized thought leader across industry forums, partner events and customer interlocks. Publish, speak and mentor on a range of forward-looking topics around Energy Midstream, Supply, Distribution & Logistics
