Role: QA/BA Analyst
Job description:
Looking for Capital markets BA/QA experienced resources
Looking for Capital markets domain resources with knowledge on middle office or multiple asset types.
Looking domain skills in functional tester some exposure on trade lifecycle, accounting, middle office, or transaction management
- Understanding business requirements and defining test strategies/plan for applications.
- Develop and maintain Test plan, Test cases, Test data, Test backups and other SQA artifacts.
- Expertise in executing Test scripts via Automation tools.
- Conduct smoke/sanity test using Automation for test readiness.
- Identify regression cases and participate in developing test suites
- Perform Integration, Regression, Compatibility and User acceptance testing phases.
- Development utilities to enable QA efficiencies
- Participate in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs.
- Maintaining and tracking the test deliverables in test management tool.
- Collaborate with business and development team in delivering the work items without ambiguity.
- Replicating the production defects in lower environments.
Competency:
- Candidate should have prior Functional Testing experience
Minimum 7 years of experience .
- Prior work experience in Capital Markets/Financial domain is a must.
- Strong Functional and Application testing skillset.
- Ability to review and understand complex concepts at a detailed level
- Expertise in creating and maintaining Test sets for complex application workflows.
- Proficiency with different Automation tools
- Capability of executing test cases via automation tools is preferable.
- Experience of working in distributed team environment.
- Good problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Knowledge in writing SQL queries.
- Proficiency with VB scripting, Java and Java Scripting will be an added advantage.
- Strong Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling, and adaptive software development.
- Hands on experience with Test Management tools and Defect Tracking tools like Jira, RTC, ALM etc.
- Capability to multi-task and to take appropriate initiatives.
