Job Description: Audio Visual Service Desk (AVSD) Specialist
Role Overview:
The Audio Visual Service Desk (AVSD) Specialist is responsible for managing and resolving user-created and system-generated tickets for AV-enabled rooms, ensuring seamless audio-visual experiences in meetings and events. The AVSD team supports 1 AV-enabled rooms, including CVP Private, Executive, Private, Microsoft Technology Centres (MTC), multi-purpose rooms, conference rooms, and focus rooms.
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications based on service line expertise (listed below).
Experience
Agents: Minimum of 3 years in a technical support role or equivalent certification.
Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): 5 years of specialized experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Handle alerts and tickets generated by the Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal, ensuring prompt investigation and resolution of AV system issues.
- Troubleshooting & Remediation: Utilize tools and resources within the management portal to address AV system alerts, minimizing disruptions and maintaining meeting quality.
- Proactive Maintenance: Regularly inspect and update audio-visual systems to prevent potential issues, ensuring all systems are operational and ready for use.
- Support Coverage: Provide support for various AV-enabled room types, addressing user needs and technical challenges effectively.
- System Optimization: Monitor and optimize AV equipment performance to deliver high-quality audio and visual outputs during meetings and events.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in AV systems and equipment.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms and related management portals.
- Familiarity with AV technologies, including Extron, Crestron, and other conferencing tools.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with users and stakeholders effectively.
- Tools: Microsoft Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal and associated AV resources.
- Proactive and responsive to ensure minimal downtime and consistent AV system readiness.
- Deliver a seamless audio-visual experience for all users by ensuring prompt resolution of issues, proactive system maintenance, and high-quality AV support for meetings and events.
“Expected annual pay for this role ranges from [$100,000] to [$115,000]. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.”
