Role-System Engineer
Location-Redmond, Washington, United States
Role & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and reimage networking devices and servers.
- Investigate access issues and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
- Run cables based on provided topologies.
- Establish connections between devices and traffic generators.
- Configure and maintain power distribution units (PDUs).
- Build testbeds for pre-deployment testing of devices, software, and equipment.
- Rack and stack various networking devices (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Mellanox, F5, etc.).
- Deploy and configure devices with different OS (IOS, NXOS, EOS, JUNOS, SONiC).
- Manage and operate traffic generator devices like Ixia.
- Handle dynamic connections via Wave-to-Wave using Cloudshell utility.
- Perform cable communication between devices using AOC, DAC, fiber cables, and CAT cables.
- Manage, deploy, and troubleshoot lab TOR devices.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
Must have a College degree in a related field ( STEM)
“Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $45,000 to $50,000]. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.”
