Job Description: Production Scheduler I
Department: Operations Status: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Production Control Supervisor Revision Date: 3.4.25
Shift: 8:00am -4:00pm Pay Rate: $26.00-$32.50/ hour
Description: Performs various functions to ensure the work being done within a company is performed in a particular order for efficient schedule attainment. Ensures products being built are to the company and/or customer standards. Achieving both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

Knowledge:
- Administration and Management – Must be familiar with an ERP system and be able to inquire within the ERP to collect the necessary data for problem-solving.
- Quality – Knowledge of Rubadue quality system and procedures the Production Control Department is responsible for.
- Performance Management – Understands and practices the concepts of Performance Management.
- Mathematics – Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, and statistics.
- Production and Processing- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques that maximize effectiveness.
- OTS Representative for Production – Identifies, manages, and communicates late orders to all affected.
- Training – Responsible for documenting/revising training programs for the Production Control Team.
- ISO Documentation – Responsible for revising ISO documentation as directed by the Director of Operations or Production Control Manager.
- Bottleneck Theory – Must have a working knowledge of bottleneck theory to create desired schedules.

Work Conditions:
The environment is typical of many administrative positions and is located within an office. However, consistent exposure to a manufacturing environment is required.
Equipment Used:
Computers, calculators, and other office equipment.
Required Education and Experience:
Completion of High School Degree or equivalent. Five years of working experience in manufacturing.
Business administration or a related field degree is preferred. Additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, depending on work history.
2 years of prior experience in scheduling.
