Wire-Mesh Products has an immediate opening in our York facility for 2nd and 3rd shift Machine Operators.
Job Description and Qualifications
- Must have ability to read a tape measure
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Above average mathematical skills
- Work overtime as needed.
- Knowledge of machine shop hand tools (ie. dial indicators, dial calipers, hand files, cutters, bolt cutters, pliers, mallets, hammers, hand held cutters, chill motors, saws, screw drivers, etc.)
- Previous machine operating experience a plus
- Able to read and understand shop orders
- Able to do daily paperwork and information transfers per daily needs as instructed
- Maintain clean work area and follow safety protocol.
- Experience in a machine shop setting required.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Able to do general labor work as requested.
