What You'll Do
The Dispatcher assists in the overall daily operations of the Tent Department. The dispatcher coordinates the schedules of Delivery Drivers to ensure products and goods are picked up and delivered in a timely manner. The Dispatcher reports directly to the Director of Tent Operations. This position is located in Woburn Ma.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday availability is a must.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday availability is a must.
The Day-to-Day
- Assist with daily coordination of truck assignments for individual job sites
- Organize, prepare and distribute invoices for future staging and loading
- Communicate with sales office to ensure accurate paperwork for all jobs
- Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks at loading dock
- Monitor daily truck usage and follow up with drivers to ensure accurate logs
- File driver paperwork and cross check for mistakes
- Provide delivery status information to office upon customer requests
- Open/Close Building as appropriate
- Assist with driving of trucks and machine operations when needed
- Drive trucks to and from jobsites as needed
- Train Drivers on DOT and company standards and regulations
- Attend Transportation meetings
- Communicate with Drivers and Helpers on job assignments
- Coordinate routes for deliveries
- Assist in creating the best routes for deliveries
- Other duties and assignments as given by management.
- Must have open availability
- Must be able to work overtime during busy season
- Must be available to work on Saturday and Sunday
- Must be able to work in a team environment and follow direction’s of Department Manager
- Must be professional in appearance and behavior
- Must be willing to perform tasks as assigned in a safe and conscientious a manner, respectful of co-workers, customers and PEAK property
What We're Looking For
- Delivery experience a plus, but not required
- Warehouse experience a plus, but not required
- Computer and keyboard skills required
- Ability to develop knowledge of our equipment and delivery area
- Customer service and communication skills required
- Must have organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work with a diverse and multi-language team
