JOB OVERVIEW:
The Data Operations Specialist is responsible for transforming and managing data systems to support Wire 3's business and analytics teams. This position dives deep into an event-based information ecosystem centered around the customer. The role involves managing key data sources, understanding their structure, and ensuring accurate data flow across systems. This includes converting data into usable formats, building workflows, connecting platforms together using integrations, and implementing solutions for real-time and historical reporting. Additionally, the specialist works closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure that data solutions align with business goals. The role combines technical expertise with collaboration across teams to allow data-driven decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Integrating data connections between multiple platforms using web APIs.
- Transforming and stewarding data to fit operational needs.
- Overseeing existing data models and converting them to alternative formats ingestible by business, operations and analytics teams.
- Working with various data formats and databases. (SQL/NoSQL, JSON)
- Managing and optimizing lead data within our CRM platform to enhance generation and conversion processes.
- Liaise with multiple departments to plan and implement solutions for historical and real-time reporting/analytics.
- Mock-up workflows and document implementation.
- Willingness to travel and perform other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fundamental understanding of computing and data structures.
- Experience with large-data formats and databases. (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, JSON)
- Knowledge of data query languages. (e.g. MySQL, Mongo, Elastic)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and web application services.
- Ability to brainstorm and diagram workflows and business rules.
- Capable of working in a small, fast-moving team while managing time effectively.
- Ability to create meaningful reports and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related fields.
