Job overview:
This role is required to implement security policies and procedures, monitor network and system security, and evaluate security risks.
Analyzes security threats, assesses security vulnerabilities, recommends and implements security solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement security policies and procedures
- Monitor Wire 3 systems and network for security threats
- Assess security vulnerabilities, recommend and implement security solutions.
- Work and coordinate with the Wire 3 IT teams to improve system security posture
- Manage SIEM
- Applying current and emerging security solutions to meet organization, industry and regulatory requirements preferred.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field OR Associate Degree with information security related field and 4 years of progressive work experience in an IT enterprise system or security settings.
- Demonstrated competence in effective communication skills.
- Experience in overall IT security strategy and apply/implement IT security strategy in assigned projects/initiatives required.
- Experience applying current and emerging security solutions to meet organization, industry and regulatory requirements preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices in Information Security procedures and controls preferred.
- Experience with defense in depth, trusts levels, system access privileges and permissions preferred.
- Must be able to work in a complex, dynamic team environment with minimal supervision and possess good organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the Company and with various business contacts outside of the company in an articulate, professional manner.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments on a daily basis.
One or more security certifications (CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security , GISF, GSEC or other similar security certifications) preferred.
