The Infrastructure Operations Manager will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the IT infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of all Infrastructure operations, systems, and customer-facing services. This role involves managing a team of infrastructure professionals, driving technology modernization, and aligning infrastructure strategies with business objectives.
- Develop and execute a forward-looking IT infrastructure roadmap to support growth, digital transformation initiatives, and operational resilience
- Supervise and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers, network administrators, and system analysts. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and cultivate a collaborative, high-performing team
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of critical infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and disaster recovery systems
- Manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and use of cloud security best practices
- Develop and manage backup strategies and disaster recovery testing to ensure data integrity and availability
- Lead the adoption and optimization of cloud-based solutions while maintaining a secure and efficient hybrid IT environment
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to procure and support infrastructure solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Direct and manage infrastructure projects, such as network upgrades, data center enhancements, or system migrations
- EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 7-8 years of experience within Infrastructure Operations, with at least 5 years in leadership role
- Experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements would be a plus
- Demonstrated success leading complex infrastructure projects and teams
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and enterprise-grade hardware
