We’re looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Technical Support Associate to assist in device setup of mobile devices, tablets, and routers. This role is key to ensuring our customers have a seamless onboarding experience with fully configured and operational devices.
Job Overview:
As a Technical Support Associate, you will focus on custom configuration of mobile devices, tablets, and routers, ensuring they are ready for customer deployment. You’ll also provide technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting device issues, and helping them set up and optimize their devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Device setup - Staging/Kitting: Prepare and configure Android and iOS devices, mobile hotspots, and routers for deployment, including software installation, network configuration, and packaging for shipment.
- Device Management: Use mobile device management (MDM) tools to stage and manage fleets of devices, ensuring consistency in setup and updates.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and live chat, addressing issues related to device functionality, app setup, network connection, and software updates.
- Shipping and Inventory Management: Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipping process, including packing, labeling, and incoming shipments. Maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, locations, and status of goods
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of Android and iOS smartphones: Familiarity with the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of mobile operating systems.
- Understanding of mobile and network technology: Knowledge of Wi-Fi routers, networking basics, and mobile device connectivity.
- Experience in a technical support or staging environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) tools and security best practices.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
