Basic Function: The Financial Analyst role is responsible for providing strategic leadership through analytics, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The role also works closely with the finance team during the month-end close and monthly operating review process, as well as other supporting other departments such as sales, operations, and international subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
- Support accounting, sales, and operations with monthly reporting and distribution of reports
- Support business functions by creating new dashboards and ensuring accuracy of existing dashboards
- Preparation of monthly operating review reports, as well as ad-hoc reporting as required by finance and other departments
- Assists with customer forecasts, annual planning, and coordination with sales team
- Intermediate to advance excel and Microsoft office skills
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence and data query/data management tools
- Provide training and education on the use of BI tools for various departments
- Maintain an inventory of reports and review for usage, changes, and deletion as needed
- Streamline processes with automation and process improvement initiatives related to data and reporting where possible
- Subject matter expert related to key performance indicators, goals, and explanation of variances
- Participate in continuous education initiatives both internally and externally•Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledge of GAAP Accounting.
- Advanced Excel Skills and General Technology Capability.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Organization, Planning, and Reading skills.
