Field Service Technician/Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee customer accounts which own our rigging fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive component, ensuring that our team delivers exceptional service to our customers. This role requires a hands-on approach, with a focus on quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
• Supervise and train service technicians in various areas including hydraulic and electrical parts diagnosis, repair and replacement .
• Maintain strong communication with customers regarding yearly preventive maintenance and calibration schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service area.
• Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock.
• Address customer concerns promptly and effectively to enhance satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in parts & service management or a similar role within the a capital equipment industry.
• Strong mechanical and/or hydraulic knowledge with hands-on experience in various hydraulic repairs including but not limited to pumps, valves, hoses and manifolds.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Ability to transmit technical information clearly to both staff and customers.
• A valid driver's license is necessary for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
