Kleemann Shop Supervisor

The primary purpose of the Kleemann Shop Supervisor role is to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining Kleemann machinery and equipment, as well as ensuring the upkeep of facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Supervision: Assist and direct workers in the maintenance and repair of high and low voltage electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshooting: Assist and direct workers in diagnosing machinery and equipment malfunctions.
• Installation Oversight: Assist and direct workers with the dismantling, assembling, and installation of Kleemann equipment.
• Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of related company assists including Kleemann Machinery spare parts as well as tooling needed to perform necessary responsibilities.
• Production Planning: Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for job completion.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure safe work practices, enforce safety regulations, and interpret company policies to workers.
• Efficiency Improvements: Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Facility Inspections: Regularly inspect work area, service areas, and offices to ensure safe and attractive work environments.
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervise 1 to 3 employees in the Kleemann Service Department.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  
  

Education and/or Experience:

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or four or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  

Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  
  

Work Environment:

• The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
