Job Summary
The Employee Relations Partner participates in ensuring corporate and field compliance with all Federal, State and Local employment laws, company policy and Code of Conduct. This role investigates employee issues and delivers solutions based on the investigative findings. The Employee Relations Partner is also responsible for multiple levels of administrative support within the HR department.
Job Responsibilities
- Handles a high volume of inquiries from employees and management regarding policies, procedures, and various human resources issues, responding within 24 hours
- Helps leaders critically think to develop and communicate win-win resolutions in a timely manner
- Conducts thorough and timely investigations of employee concerns, documents findings and partners with employees and leaders to resolve
- Partners with Business Unit leaders to develop proactive performance and productivity strategies to ensure metrics requirements are met
- Assists the HRBP and Talent teams in the implementation of HR programs, policies, and other resources, to support the build and enhance organizational capability and add value to the business
- Maintains knowledge of employment regulations, industry trends, and business unit trends, ensuring compliance and implementing corrective measures when appropriate
- Compiles and maintains accurate records of HR related activity such as performance and investigation documentation
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field; an equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered
Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Human Resources, including generalist and/or investigation experience
- Ability to comprehend employment law, compliance, and human resources policies
- Ability to comprehend, interpret and communicate Company policy and Code of Conduct
