What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Associate- Travel Team position at WIS International?
Position Overview:
The Inventory Associate is responsible for physically counting inventory with inventory counting equipment for retail clients across various locations and accurately entering information into WIS equipment. Essential Responsibilities:
- Achieves established average per hour (APH) counting goals while ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data collected in all inventories worked
- Communicates information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation
- Creates partnerships and instills trust and confidence in one's abilities, based upon demonstrated expertise
- Takes initiative to explore and suggest new approaches that can impact quality and/or quantity of job performance and organizational effectiveness
- Leads by example and demonstrates the core values of Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork at all times.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior teamwork experience in a customer service setting preferred
- Prior teamwork experience in an inventory and/or retail setting preferred
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking; the ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions; the ability to frequently be in low level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching; the ability to frequently use a ladder; the ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.; the ability to frequently travel via car and occasionally via plane, including overnight stays. Requires traveling up to four consecutive days a week.
