JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for: 1) prepares for and conducts new employee orientations (both in-person and virtual) for the organization; 2) managing the partnership with outside vender for all new, current, and past employee DOT files, random DOT drug screens, federal medical physicals and other DOT related tasks; 3) provides human resource guidance to supervisors and managers; 4) acts as a backup to the Recruiters in conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, pre-employment physicals and running MVR’s; 5) maintaining personnel and medical files; 6) assist with leave management form control and communication; 7) responsible for processing employee status changes; 8) assisting in the reporting of worker’s injuries to our workers compensation insurance provider 9) assisting in wage and benefit surveys and performing special projects to enhance the services provided by the Human Resource Department. All the duties of the Human Resources Coordinator are designed to support the organization in its efforts to achieve profitable growth through the sale and distribution of refreshing beverages, innovative customer-focused marketing.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Three-four years of experience plus a four-year degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
2. Strong working knowledge of personal computing, including software products such as ADP, Windows, EXCEL, Word, and Outlook.
3. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Ability to work with limited supervision.
5. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
6. Ability to exercise good judgment and make responsible decisions.
7. Ability to exercise discretion and high levels of confidentiality and personal integrity.
8. Must have a valid driver’s license.
