What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler (Full Time) Loves Park, IL position at Wis-Pak / WP Beverages?

The Material Handler is primarily responsible for the effective and efficient building, staging, and loading of products. Additional duties include but are not limited to: General housekeeping, properly stocking and rotating product throughout several warehouse locations, organization and staging of shells and pallets, as well as any other duties assigned by the Loading Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

1. High school diploma or GED equivalent (or working towards it).

2. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.

3. Strong organizational, time management and decision making skills with the ability to work within a highly distracting environment.

4. Must have the ability to operate powered industrial equipment including a fork-truck in a safe manner and maintain annual fork-truck certification.

5. Ability to continually lift 60 pounds from floor to waist height and occasionally lift 75 pounds from floor to shoulder height.

6. Prolonged sitting, standing, twisting, and/or bending.

7. The repetitive motion of one’s neck, wrist, fingers, and/or arms.

8. Basic math skills.

9. Must possess intermediate personal computer skills.

10. Willingness to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as needed.

11. Must have the ability to work in an indoor environment with fluctuating temperatures.
