What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:
- Operate CMM and 3-D Scanner to ensure precision measurement of castings and machined parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T symbols to uphold strict quality standards
- Develop and execute CMM programs for automated inspection processes
- Conduct first article inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections to guarantee dimensional accuracy
- Generate and maintain detailed inspection reports, including PPAP documentation
- Identify and report non-conformances, working closely with engineering and production teams to find solutions
- Support gauge calibration and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities
- Keep accurate records of measurement data and inspection results
- Follow safety protocols and company policies
What You Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma or HSED equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a foundry, machining, or manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models
- Proficiency in CMM operation and 3-D Scanner usage
- Problem-solving skills that tackle challenges head-on
