What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airworthiness Inspector position at Wisconsin Aviation?
Are you an aviation technician who enjoys the world of compliance and technical data? Wisconsin Aviation has an opportunity for an Airworthiness Inspector.
Your role will be centered around completion of logbooks and aircraft documents ensuring compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, as well as any new mandatory requirements from the manufacturer. You will conduct research for new applicable Airworthiness Directives on aircraft entering maintenance and update AD status in aircraft permanent records; and check new AD’s for applicability to company and customer aircraft. Other responsibilities include completion of aircraft status reports, keeping manuals current with appropriate revisions and bulletins, and monitor workflow and company processes for quality and efficiency.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Working knowledge of general aviation aircraft systems.
- Organizational skills and ability to manage assignments
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- A & P License/Certification is required, IA is required (IA may be obtained within first 6 mos.)
- Minimum of 5 years working experience on general aviation aircraft
