The Cabinet Design Outside Sales Representative Role
This position is responsible for generating designs and securing new sales to increase the company's profitability. The representative will maintain existing accounts while generating new business through cold calls and following leads, focusing mainly on cabinetry design and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create designs using 20/20 Design software based on client desires
- Promote, sell, and secure new accounts for the company
- Provide existing accounts with necessary products, information, and services
- Assist with product selection and prepare price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, and service obligations
- Resolve customer complaints and problems
- Assist in account receivable collection and coordinate project schedules
- Maintain current knowledge of daily and monthly sales and their relationship to budget and margin goals
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3 years of sales experience in building materials or related industry required
- Desirable skills: background in design, interior design, cabinet design, or kitchen and bath design; working knowledge of building materials industry and products
Travel Requirements:
This role requires 50% travel.
