Is responsible for the overall success of the Region in all functions.Major Responsibilities : Develops and monitors budget activity within the Region in order to ensure maximum regional performance. Responsible for financial performance of region.Responsible for the management of the Region’s assets, and vehicle maintenance.Responsible for the direct supervision of a regional staff, and several Contract Managers ensuring company policies and procedures and implemented fairly and consistently.Maintains excellent customer service relationship with Region’s customers.Develops programs, ensures consistency in administration of company policies and procedures in order to ensure effective and positive employee relations.Keeps abreast of governmental laws and regulations and ensures the Region is in compliance.Effectively interacts with others by demonstrating high degree of credibility and is responsible for development of initiatives in support of, and development of subordinates.Demonstrates a strong sense of mission in the development and execution of a strategic business plan. Motivates others by establishing clear vision as to the needs necessary to ensure success in profit performance, client relations, and business development.Minimum Education & Certifications Required : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or other related fieldRequirements & Expectations : Superior interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills with pleasant phone communication ability. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transportation, manufacturing or logisticsThe ability to work variable hours.Must maintain a professional and respectful attitude toward fellow employees and customers.Dress in a professional and appropriate manner for a business environment.Perform all job functions in the safest manner adhering to OSHA guidelines & other applicable Federal & State lawsExecute all job duties while following company policy and procedure.Skills : Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail and follow-up skills are vital in this position.High level of understanding of management and employee labor relations.Ability to be persuasive and give leadership to subordinates.Strong analytical and reasoning abilities.Strong business background in financial, strategic, and organizational analysis.Prior history of staff supervision and development.Ability to use or learn to use internet, additional programs as required and office equipment, including fax and phones or other electronic devices.Physical Requirements & Working Conditions : The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
