What are the responsibilities and job description for the Law Clerk - Justice Rebecca Dallet position at Wisconsin Court System / Wisconsin Supreme Court?
Justice Dallet is accepting applications now through June 9, 2025, for one full-time law clerk to serve a one or two-year term beginning August 1, 2026. As of that date, candidates must have the following minimum qualifications: (1) a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school; (2) law review or similar legal-research and writing experience; (3) superior research and writing skills, including proofreading and editing skills; and (4) strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Law clerks are responsible for drafting, editing, and proofreading opinions for release; maintaining filing systems; managing Justice Dallet’s calendar; supervising interns; providing general administrative assistance; and other duties as assigned.
