What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Coordinator position at Wisconsin Department of Corrections?
Under general supervision of the Financial Program Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible to: maintain the daily Institution Warehouse operations; coordinate shipping, receiving and storage of merchandise in the institution store; determine and direct the flow of goods through the institution including storage, inventory and distribution. This position is responsible for maintenance of a high-risk security environment in accordance with institution security policies and procedures, as well as for the direction and training of the inmate workers. The incumbent performs highly responsible work, which contributes directly to the safe, secure, and efficient operation of the Institution. The incumbent also performs a variety of activities both independently and within a team environment, of an operation comparable to a large and diversified warehouse/store operation.
The Inventory Control Coordinator shall comply with the Department’s administrative rules and the agency’s policies and procedures including those related to the Department's overall Reentry philosophy of using evidence-based strategies, practices and programs which target an inmate’s individual criminogenic needs and risk level.

Pay: $19.50 - $23.48 per hour
